The hotel had great facilities, including a pool and spa, and was in a convenient location close to public transport and within walking distance of the main railway station. Additionally, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was marvelous.

The room was soulless and felt like it was a waiting room for a doctor or dentist practice. It contained a small built in kitchen but had absolutely no kitchen equipment - not even a kettle or mugs. What a strange idea. When we arrived, it was a very hot day but the blinds were open and the windows closed. The result was that the room remained very hot overnight. When we asked to alter our booking from two nights to one, we were told to sort this out with Booked.net. A display of total indifference.

The hotel is located just a little out of the centre of town. Not a long walk but at the end of an evening it is a drag as it's not worth a taxi ride!

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area, yet still close to the city center. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service from the moment we arrived until the time we left. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a cozy sitting area and all the amenities we needed, including a mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was large and had a relaxing bathtub. We also appreciated the additional services provided, such as the shoe shine service and the am/fm alarm clock in the room. The dining options were superb, with a delicious breakfast and a restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes.

We highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Very nice staff, great breakfast buffet. The sauna area is amazing and a great way to relax after a day of work. It is only a 5-10 minute walk from the central train station.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient; you can reach the main railway station by foot within a few minutes. the city center and other attractions are very close to this hotel. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is well maintained, and the staff members are friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food, and the spa facilities provided a relaxing experience for the guests.

There could have been some improvements in the complimentary services, as mentioned in one review. For instance, providing more luxurious toiletries and extra amenities in the rooms, and offering free Wi-Fi to all guests without any hassle would have been appreciated.

visit to city of Lubeck, sight seeing, shopping

hotel interior all up-to-date, comfortable and classic in design; clean, however wiped finger across door frame and that had not been done for a while. otherwise, cannot fault them - overall very nice and courteous indeed. Once I had asked again, they provided us with a brand new cot with crispy clean bedding for our small child and even made us a lunch bag as we had to leave prior to regular breakfast times.

Although the hotel itself was very good, some streets close by are not - rubbish was piling up on the street and the energy from some people did not feel as safe as I would have liked. Having said that, three young boys helped us find our way back to the hotel and were very helpful and friendly - also from the same neighbourhood. I suggest addressing this issue with local authorities - rubbish should not be left out like this anyway but it could potentially be damaging to the hotel. Further, this seems very much at odds with the generally clean and beautiful city that is Luebeck.

Excellent breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Fairly easy (10-15min) stroll to Lubeck's Altstadt - and if you don't want to head into town in the evening, the hotel has a very good restaurant.

The road-traffic was a little bit noisy (but we did choose to sleep with the windows open!).

Location good and street quiet at night time. Hotel was near both bus and rail terminals which are located in the city centre. 10 minute walk max will bring you into the city centre.

Receptionist had no information on airport links. For information: Lubeck (Ryanair) is 15min by bus from the station and there is a connection from Lubeck direct to Hamburg airport.

The spacious room was great for my business trip, with a comfortable bed and seating area. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drink to start the day right. The hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to local attractions.

The Wi-Fi was a bit sluggish and unreliable at times, which made it hard to work efficiently. The noise level could also be a bit distracting, with some late-night noise from the neighboring areas.

We got a room on the 4th floor, under the roof. Sloped ceiling made us feel like being in a small box. Room was very small and we didn't like it at all. There were two single beds, so we had to put them together. I thought it is obvious to get a double bed when you book as a family with a child... I asked if we can change the room to another floor. The answer was "No". Only half of staff speak English.
